Each project is unique, but experience is vital. Saville Jones draws on its experience in residential, community, conservation, ecclesiastical and sports projects, to produce buildings of quality in the UK and Europe. We offer a flexible service from appointment directly as architects or as lead consultants, providing project management and commissioning the design team through to contract managing the project.
Our Studio
Our office has always been a creative space, formally a recording studio, responsible for seminal recordings of Motorhead, Ian Drury and the Blockheads, The Stranglers and other artists.
The studio continues to be a focus of creativity. Haydn Jones formed Saville Jones in 1993, and the quality of our design work was quickly recognised with awards and inclusion in the Government publication ‘New Architects: A Guide to Britain’s Best Young Architects’. The practice being appointed as consultants to Sport England and the Big Lottery.
As director, Haydn is responsible for developing and maintaining the high quality of the practice’s work. He has considerable experience and skills in creating solutions on difficult and challenging projects, from historic sites in Gibraltar and Jersey to urban facilities in London. His architectural appreciation and communication skills have led him to present reports for BBC television and radio.
