The solid external walls are in flint, a typical local building material and the quoins and window and door reveals are in an orange-red brick. The chimneys can also be traced on the outside of the building as they too are in brick from bottom to top.
The building is owned by Findon Parish Council and they have embarked upon a programme of restoration including re-roofing and structural repairs to the walls. The work commenced on site on Monday 11 May with completion in July 2015, before the annual Sheep Fair in September.
