Proposed works include:
- New “glass box” extension on the front elevation for use as a café/meeting/event space
- The remodelling of the building exterior to provide more impact on the street and raise public awareness of the building as a community facility
- Improvement of existing building fabric to reduce running costs and improve comfort levels in the building
- Reordered sanctuary to cater for flexible style of worship
- The upgrading of interiors including new finishes; lighting and heating to create better ambience
- New suite of “bookable” community spaces
- The refurbishment of the existing church hall with dedicated kitchen; storage and ancillary spaces to cater for larger group activities and events.
